Macaroni and cheese, baked beans, and corn on the cob, with a delicious peach fuzzy navel drink to wash it down! Who ate all of that fattening food on July 4th? ME! That’s right! Yours truly, the healthy and fit holistic healthy lifestyle coach ate ALL of that on the Fourth!

Healthy lifestyle coaches should only eat lean meats, fruits and veggies right? Wrong! You didn’t know that some healthy and fit holistic healthy lifestyle coaches could splurge from time to time?

Well, let me break a few things down for you about me, Coach Ebonie.

The other day when I was celebrating a national holiday I put all health rules aside during my pool party and decided to indulge in some of my favorite foods!  Some people would say “But, how do you stay so slim if you eat food like that?  If I even look at food like that I will gain weight!”

The reason I can stay slim is that I consistently eat nourishing foods like vegetables, fruit and whole grains and drink water most of the time and I also exercise regularly.  I know that eating one junk food meal is NOT going to make me gain 100 pounds OR die.  Surprising, huh?  I also know that if I deprive myself of all indulgences simply because they’re unhealthy I will NOT enjoy a full healthy lifestyle.  That’s because I love living a life that is not black and white, but rather a life full of zest, variety and healthy enjoyment.

Most ladies’ next question is, “Well, HOW can I eat like that too and still lose weight?”  And of course that’s one of my favorite questions because MANY people’s idea of eating healthy means eating a BORING salad every day all day! (YAWN!)

How do I know?  Because I see it and hear it all the time.  I’ll log onto social media and see someone’s post saying “Day 1 of My Diet” with a picture of one cucumber and one red pepper sitting beside it.  Then I chuckle to myself because I know that it’s not sustainable and I’m not surprised when Day 3 of their post includes a philly cheese steak, French fries with extra cheese, and a diet coke.

So, what does a healthy diet look like?

Well, I think we all know that consistently eating meals full of veggies can produce optimal health.  But did you also know that including healthy fats like unrefined virgin coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil, and avocados for example should be part of the mix?  Did you also know that eating complex carbs like sweet potatoes, brown rice, and high fiber foods like oatmeal should also be part of the mix?

The MORE often you exercise correctly and include foods like these in your diet the MORE likely you will feel fuller throughout the day and not worry as much about infrequent indulgences.  One of the MAIN issues though is that MANY ladies simply do not know HOW to make veggies and good complex carbs taste good to their pallet, especially when they have little time to research healthy recipes after a LONG day of work or taking care of the family.

That’s just one reason WHY I created a clean eating guide, The Busy Woman’s Beginner’s Guide to Clean Eating. It is a PERFECT guide for women who struggle with quick meal and snack preparation and find themselves resorting back to the SAME 5-7 unhealthy meal choices they’ve probably grown up on.

This guide is complimentary to members of my Facebook community, ‘Nutrition 4 Busy Women – Stress Eating and Cooking Healthy’.  Are you struggling to lose excess weight simply because you don’t know HOW to make healthy foods super flavorful while still being able to sometimes indulge in junk food?   I’m not a prude healthy lifestyle coach.  Join the rest of us and learn how to finally create the BEST healthy, flavorful meals on the block and lose excess annoying weight within just 21 days!
